FrütUp and TRACK heat things up in the refrigerator.

Hamburg, June 2015: Müller Dairy launches new FrütUp range under the name “FrütUp goes wild!” 

Marula, baobab, cactus fruit (prickly pear), and dates – the most exotic of exotic fruits – have become the new targets of FrütUp and Freddie the chameleon, their main protagonist.

The animation – and now, for the second time, the production – of the 17-second TV commercial for the new FrütUp goes wild! range was in the capable hands of the award-winning Swedish vfx and animation studio, FIDO.

TRACK Creative Director Gunnar Loeser: “Loud, crazy, but nevertheless authentic – that’s always the challenge the Müller ads present. I love it!”

Although it was filmed in Stockholm, the application of live elements such as a handheld camera and “amateurish” lighting, in combination with the latest, most cutting-edge animation technology, all helped to create an excitingly authentic wilderness experience.

After Freddie the chameleon, along with the FrütUps, was almost trampled underfoot by an elephant, he came to the conclusion that: “The Müllers must be crazy!” – because they really get their fruit from the deepest wilderness for the latest FrütUp goes wild! range.

The TV commercial is running from June 29, 2015 on major TV channels.

Responsible for the project on the client side was Ute Schubert (Head of Marketing International), Florian Weber (Marketing Manager), and Julia Fehlker (Product Manager). At TRACK, Anke Elzenheimer (Client Services Director) and Gunnar Loeser (Creative Ideation Director) took the reins and were capably aided and abetted by Johannes Eichler, Kirsten Ridder, and Julia Hauke.
