TRACK launches skilled trades awareness campaign in Germany

Hamburg, 19 May 2021 – Digital communication has become more important than ever in recent months. And that is one of the reasons why the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH) has enlisted the support of TRACK to boost its latest awareness campaign. The Hamburg-based agency came out on top in a recent pitch and will now take over the management of the  www.handwerk.de communication platform. The tasks include optimising the user experience as well as completing a comprehensive technical relaunch.

“Digital communication has never been so crucial as it is today. That’s why it’s all the more important we continue to develop our central campaign platform so it becomes a rich information hub,” explains Stefan Koenen, Head of Communications and Political Coordination, citing the reasons for the relaunch. “In the future, the website will be a pivotal, stand-alone component of the campaign. With TRACK, we have found an agency that provides true craftsmanship, technical expertise and creativity.”

“Digital platforms are the number one point of contact for young people when it comes to finding the right apprenticeship. That’s especially the case in challenging times like these,” adds Sandra Voß, Chief Marketing Officer at TRACK. “Together with the ZDH, we are working on adapting the website to perfectly meet user’s needs so that it is  optimally geared up for the future.”

Three agencies from the Lemon Group – TRACK, DDB and DDB Entertainment – were awarded accounts to manage the marketing activities of the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH).
