Since 1791, the renowned Hamburg hotel, Louis C. Jacob has been the epitome of high quality and etiquette. The hotel boasts the two Michelin-starred Jacob’s Restaurant and is among Hamburg’s most exclusive addresses.
However, with the changing tastes and requirements of its discerning and demanding target group and upscale restaurants developing their own innovative concepts, traditional establishments are now being put to the test.
Guests expect high-quality service and the highest standards of culinary excellence, looking for fresh authenticity and more familiarity rather than an air of detachment and ceremonial formality.
In a series of brand workshops, TRACK worked with the Louis C. Jacob team and developed:
- a new, contemporary positioning that tries to overcome the classic barriers and constraints award-winning restaurants experience, while at the same time honoring the hotel’s traditional roots.
- an interpretation of this positioning for different sections of the hotel – from the kitchen and service areas through to housekeeping.
The reorientation of this tradition-rich establishment is of course characterized by the contemporary, laid-back Hamburg charm. Louis C. Jacob will now be offering its customers simplicity at the highest level, creating the appropriate balance between tradition and modernity – a balance that redefines Michelin-starred gastronomy.
