This year’s MMA Smarties Awards saw us celebrate a hat-trick of successes. We were named Digital Agency of the Year at the Industry Awards and won two silver awards for our pioneering work with Samsung. The award-winning projects have set new standards in the realms of AI-powered audience engagement and the intertwining of loyalty and entertainment.
The award-winning projects in detail
1. Silver in “AI-Powered Audience Engagement”
We won this award for our CRM campaign setup, which used AI to totally transform how Samsung connects with its target audience.
The jury commended our integrated approach which combined data, insights and technology to a full-year communication strategy. What made this project special was that its successes –optimised targeting and higher ROI – and not a cent was spent on external media whatsoever. It’s a shining example of how technology, data and a deep strategic understanding can boost long-term customer relationships.
2. Silver in “Customer Journey Marketing – Lead Generation/CRM”
This award honoured our Samsung Members app project, the ‘loyaltainment’ concept.
Faced with an overcrowded rewards landscape in Germany, TRACK transformed the app into a bold blend of loyalty and entertainment. Through the consistent transformation of every touchpoint, and creating an appealing, always-available experience, the app generated attention throughout the year, achieved measurable business success – and set a new benchmark for digital customer retention.
